Important, Please Read Before Signing Up!

Please know that because the workshop is so close we no longer have rooms held at the Ranch, and unfortunately they just sold out. There are still some options though.

  1. There are few rooms left at the Inn which is across the street, but the rates are exceptional at $617/night.
  2. You can camp! There are first come first serve campgrounds across the street at either Texas
Spring or the Sunset campground. Texas Spring only fills on the weekends and Sunset always has spots available.
  3. Stay at the Stovepipe Wells Hotel which is 30 minutes from Furnace Creek where the workshop is located. There is one room available for $226/night.
  4. Stay in Beatty, Nevada which is a 45-minute drive to Furnace Creek. The rooms here are under $100/day, but be sure you are an early riser so you can leave very early in the morning to make it in time for sunrise shoots!

If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Best,
David

We poured our hearts into our talks, sharing our...

Jennifer freediving in the ocean

Hi Reader, August was a month of deep contrasts for us, of heartbreaking loss and unexpected renewal. We began the month by saying goodbye to our sweet cat and constant travel companion, Maui. Her kidney disease progressed incredibly fast, and at 18 years old, we had to let her go. She lived a full and adventurous life, but the silence she left behind has been immense. In those quiet, challenging moments, you know that something has to change. So, for the first time in ten years, we stepped...

Rethink Landscape Processing Course and Toolkit

Hi Reader, It's a feeling I know well, and I hear it from other photographers all the time: You open Lightroom and feel unsure where to start... or where to go next. Lightroom gives us powerful tools, but no real roadmap. For years, I felt a disconnect between the vision in my head and the tools on my screen. You're left jumping between panels, second-guessing adjustments, and wondering if you're actually improving the photo. The process can feel chaotic, especially when the only way to gain...
