Death Valley - February 12-16, 2023

One of our most popular workshops, Death Valley is a must-see for those who haven't visited before, and a worthy spot for repeat visits. Our extensive portfolios from this park are a testament to the endless opportunities for stunning photography in this diverse landscape. It's no wonder Death Valley is one of our favorite spots!

Death Valley in Black and White - February 27-March 3, 2023

Get ready for a unique and exciting experience in 2023 with our brand new workshop focusing on refining your vision in black and white photography. Our in-field sessions will provide ample opportunities to capture stunning images throughout the day, and our daytime sessions will focus on black-and-white processing techniques like burning and dodging. We strongly encourage you to purchase and bring a small Wacom tablet to fully explore its potential as a creative tool.

Death Valley at Night - April 23-26, 2023

Join us for the workshop everyone has been eagerly anticipating: a night photography experience in Death Valley! In April, the milky way becomes visible late at night, offering the perfect opportunity to capture stunning images. We will spend our evenings photographing the arcing milky way, practicing panorama techniques, and experimenting with light painting in the sand dunes. The comfortable temperatures in Death Valley during April make it the ideal location for night photography. During the day, we will cover how to process your photos, including stacking, noise reduction, and panorama stitching. We will also provide guidance on scouting locations for future night shoots. Don't miss this unique opportunity to capture the beauty of the night sky in Death Valley!

Grand Teton National Park - June 12-15, 2023

One of our favorite times to visit the Tetons is in the spring, when there is still snow on the peaks and the wildflowers are in full bloom. It's a magical time in the mountains, and we love to capture the beauty of the landscape. We will photograph a range of subjects, from sweeping panoramas of the dramatic peaks to close-up shots of the vibrant wildflowers and abstract reflections in the water. It's an opportunity to capture the Tetons in all their glory, and we can't wait for you to experience this!

Grand Teton and Yellowstone Night - June 19-24, 2023

This is an extraordinary opportunity to capture the beauty of the night sky in two of America's most iconic national parks - Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Our adventure will begin in Grand Teton National Park, where we will have the chance to photograph the stunning milky way galaxy above the rugged peaks of the Tetons. We will then travel to Yellowstone National Park, where we will have the opportunity to capture the milky way above some of the park's most spectacular thermal features and the majestic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. With some of the darkest skies in the country, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to capture the beauty of the night sky in these iconic national parks. Don't miss out on this incredible adventure!

Crested Butte - July 11-14, 2023

Crested Butte is a true gem in the state of Colorado, boasting some of the most breathtaking landscapes that you will ever see. We have been exploring this area for years and have discovered some truly magical spots that are perfect for capturing stunning landscape photography. From cascading waterfalls to ferns that gracefully drape below the aspen trees, there is no shortage of beauty to be found here. And let's not forget the wildflowers that bloom in abundance during the summer months, adding a splash of color to the already vibrant scenery. Join us on a retreat to the mountains and let us take you to our favorite locations for creating beautiful landscape photos.

Yellowstone Intimate Landscapes - September 19-24, 2023

Yellowstone is a photographer's paradise, full of intricate details that are easily missed if you don't take your time to really look around. In this unique workshop, we will encourage you to slow down and open your eyes to the incredible beauty surrounding you in this national park. From steamy thermal features to rainbow-filled waterfalls and geysers, there is an incredible variety of stunning subjects to capture in Yellowstone. This workshop is designed for those who want to challenge themselves and push their creative boundaries. Hello Reader, We hope the transition from winter to spring has been smooth for you and you're looking forward to all the photographic opportunities that late spring and early summer provide. It's been a busy few months, and we just returned from two and a half months on the road. We had a very productive spring photographically and personally, which was nice after a very challenging fall season. We spent our first month in Death Valley, where we spent most of our time getting out and...

Hello Reader, We hope you're enjoying the winter season and finding opportunities to capture its beauty through your lens. Our last visit in December left us awestruck, as the park's landscape was dramatically altered by historic floods in August. The floods revived Lake Manly in Badwater Basin, a rare sight that has yet to evaporate. On our explorations, we discovered unique salt formations, sculpted by...
